THE THREE SISTERS

Our Newest Project
The Three Sisters
Ensworth Guitar Company is excited to announce our newest project, the Three Sisters. In this project we
will be building three guitars dedicated to the remberance of the Rambo family and homestead.

They were early settlers to Marshall County, TN, near the city of Lewisburg, on the aptly named Rambo Hollow Road. They built their farmhouse in the early 1800s. It was occupied by the Rambo family for over 150 years, untilthe last sister, Ms. Emma Rambo, passed away in the late 1960s. She and two of her sisters never left home and all three passed away there. Living there together for years, the house became known locally as , the three sisters' house. In 2021 the current land owner contacted us about this locally historic property. Due to its deteriorating condition and safety concerns it was scheduled to be torn down. He invited us out to record the house, history and memories of neighbors and friends. We were able to look through it and pick woods suitable forbuilding guitars. We will be building three guitars from the wood we collected, the Three Sisters. Each will be unique, as the sisters, Emma, Ella and Hattie would have been. The house is now gone, and the memory of the Rambo Legacy would soon follow were it not for our research and documentation. We are not only saving and repurposing the wood, but also helping to save the valuable history of this local landmark. Follow the Three Sisters Project
